Hymns for the Broken #1
Thoughts inspired by song lyrics.
The song “Wake a Change” by Evergrey is call to action; an invitation to see the low moments in our lives as a catalyst for change.
Often, hard times are a motivator to move, to take action. They might also become moments of giving up and descending further.
Are we able to discern when we are slipping down?
What might we do in these moments?
The attached lyrics acknowledge the isolation we can experience when we are disconnected from others.
How then do we as individuals begin to connect with others, especially during tough times, to counter those feelings of isolation?
Why is this so hard to do for many?
Is it possible to do so in small, more easily undertaken ways, to at least begin that process?
